Another Tooth and a Haircut!

Caleb had a big day on Saturday! He started cutting his third tooth! I was beginning to wonder if he was ever going to get another one, since he got his first tooth at ten months and his second at eleven months. I'm pretty sure his third tooth is the 1st molar (upper right).

Also, Caleb got his first haircut on Saturday afternoon! He did really well for the first couple minutes but then was pretty upset the rest of the time. That hairstylist got a decent tip for all she had to deal with!

Spring

It's finally warming up here, and Caleb was able to wear shorts yesterday. I love seeing those baby legs! We went outside yesterday evening and waited for Brad to get home from work.

Hand Surgery Rescheduled

Several people have been asking me about Caleb's next hand surgery, and I realized that I never mentioned on here that it got rescheduled. It was originally scheduled for March 31st, but it got moved to April 7th. So... two more weeks!

World Down Syndrome Day

March 21st... 3.21. A day I probably didn't give any thought to a couple years ago but a day that means so much to me now. Happy World Down Syndrome Day, Caleb Drew!

Guess who ate only "big boy" food today?! No puréed foods or baby food! 

Sixteen Months & a Heart Update

How in the world is Caleb already 1/3 of the way through his second year?! Happy sixteen months, Caleb Drew!

I completely forgot to post this earlier because we were so busy the last couple weeks. Caleb had a cardiology appointment on February 13th. His AV Canal repair looked great, and his mitral valve wasn't leaking! Caleb doesn't have to go back for a year!

Caleb has one more surgery coming up... his syndactyly release on his left hand. That's scheduled for March 31st. After that, we won't have any surgeries/procedures on the horizon! Yea!!!
